 We had a great Fall Fun Day celebration!  Thank you so much to everyone who donated items to make this day possible!  The day after Halloween can be challenging for all of us.  Please help your student be successful tomorrow by NOT sending them with candy.  Thank you!

  10/28/22 Hello Quest families!! Fall Conferences - Our Fall conferences will be held in November and will take place with your student’s homeroom teacher.  Both in-person and virtual options will be available.   Mr. Taylor’s sign up link Mrs. Williams's sign up link Fall FuN DaY - On Monday, October 31st, Team Quest will be having a Fall celebration.  We will be carving pumpkins, having a Talent Show, and watching a Halloween movie.  We have received many donations!  2 more pumpkins cider/juice (we have a gallon) cups Newspapers   Please let us know if you are able to help.  Thanks!! Math - We continue to explore ratios in Math class.  Students are learning about equivalent ratios and are also learning how to compare ratios.  We timed ourselves running and walking 10 meters, so we could calculate our speed (meters per second).  When problem solving with ratios, students use tables, double number lines, and visuals to help.  We did a short quiz last week.   10/14/22 Hello Quest families!! Fall FuN DaY - On Monday, October 31st, Team Quest will be having a Fall celebration.  We will be carving pumpkins, having a Talent Show, and watching a Halloween movie.  We are seeking some donations for our fun day including:   12 pumpkins 12 pumpkin carving kits  cider/juice microwavable popcorn   Please let us know if you are able to help.  Thanks!! Math - Last week, we finished our first math unit on area and surface area.  Students took a quiz and created a slideshow to show what they’ve learned.  We started our new math unit this week, Introducing Ratios .  Here is a link to learn more about the mathematics in this unit. Language Arts - This week we will finish our first reading unit.  Students will finish their biographies and will finish their final slideshow project.  Students have done very well with this unit.  We have learned a lot not just about our books, but about the history of the various time periods.  This Wednesday, students who
